Our range of prawns are transported using Reefer Containers, which are intermodal
containers used in freight transport for temperature-sensitive, perishable cargo such
as fruit. The containers are kept at -20 degrees Celsius for optimum freshness. Though
the flavor of our prawns varies depending on their country of origin, the intensity of their
flavor remains undiminished thanks to the strict packaging and transport guidelines we
follow. Our prawn varieties include Black Tiger prawns, Vannamei prawns, wild prawns,
head on/head off, shell on/shell off, and small prawns.

At Maxifoods we use Glacier Vehicles - Refrigerated Vehicles with fridge temperatures of 2-5°C and freezers -18°C.
Depending on the quantity of the product, our company uses boxes of 6kg, 8kg, 12kg, and 20kg to store the products. Once the box size is selected, we store portions of the product in smaller bags.
